1 Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using the St Dominic Savio School Management System ("the System"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you must not access or use the System.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and St Dominic Savio School ("the School") governing your use of the System.
2 Description of Service
The System is a web-based school management platform designed for St Dominic Savio School. It provides tools for:
- Academic records and result management
- Student and teacher registration and management
- Discipline tracking and reporting
- Health records management
- Communication via SMS notifications
- Administrative dashboards and reporting
The School reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the System at any time without prior notice.
3 User Accounts and Responsibilities
To access the System, you must be provided with login credentials by the system administrator. You are responsible for:
- Maintaining the confidentiality of your username and password
- Not sharing your login credentials with any other person
- All activities that occur under your account
- Immediately reporting any unauthorized use of your account or any security breach
- Logging out after each session, especially on shared computers
4 Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to:
- Use the System for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any local, state, national, or international law
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the System, other accounts, or computer systems or networks connected to the System
- Upload, post, or transmit any content that contains viruses, malware, or harmful code
- Interfere with or disrupt the operation of the System, servers, or networks
- Use the System to send unsolicited communications or spam
- Modify, adapt, translate, or reverse engineer any part of the System
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels on the System
5 Data and Privacy
The System collects and processes personal data including but not limited to names, contact information, academic records, health records, and disciplinary records. Your use of the System constitutes consent to such data collection and processing.

6 SMS Communications
The System may send SMS notifications to phone numbers registered in the system for purposes including:
- Discipline notifications to parents/guardians
- Academic result notifications
- Account security alerts (including OTP for password reset)
- Important school announcements
7 Intellectual Property
The System, including its design, code, content, and all related intellectual property rights, is owned by St Dominic Savio School and its licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any part of the System without prior written consent.
All content uploaded to the System by users remains the property of the respective owners. By uploading content, you grant the School a non-exclusive license to use, store, and display that content within the System.
8 Disclaimer of Warranties
The System is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. The School does not warrant that:
- The System will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free
- Any information or content obtained through the System will be accurate or reliable
- Defects or errors will be corrected
Your use of the System is at your sole risk.
9 Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the School shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data or profits
- Business interruption
- Failure to send or receive SMS notifications
- Any damages resulting from unauthorized access to or use of the System
The School's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the System shall not exceed the amount you have paid for the service, if any.
10 Changes to Terms
The School reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Terms on the System. Your continued use of the System after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
